Communications - The Communications Department works to generate news coverage on key environmental initiatives, and produces all organizational publications, including CLCV's signature annual California Environmental Scorecard, which rates members of the state legislature on their environmental voting records.

Advocacy and Electoral Activity - CLCV supports environmentally responsible candidates running for office. Outside of election campaigns, CLCV provides information to legislator concerning environmental issues and informs the public about their votes on these issues.
