Program areas at CHPC

The California Housing Partnership provided technical assistance services to 59 public and private organizations on the construction and financing of 207 affordable housing developments throughout California in 2018.

CHPC's GREEN Affordable Housing Preservation and Production Program provided technical assistance, training, advocacy support, research and education on the preservation and production of affordable housing in California. In 2018, our program efforts focused primarily on increasing awareness of the impacts of the shortage of affordable housing and on increasing resources for the developers of affordable housing to improve the energy efficiency and overall longevity of their existing developments. We also advocated strongly for increased state and federal financial support of affordable housing in California.
