Program areas at California Electric Transportation Coalition
Education and outreach projectseducation of the general public promoting the benefits of electrictransportation. Events to promote Electric Transportation options andtechnology.
Legislative and regulatory effortscaletc worked to advance legislation supporting Electric Transportation and defeat legislation attempting to roll back the progress California has made in the Electric Transportation sector. Caletc was actively engaged in urging the appropriation of funding for low carbon Transportation. In order to secure sufficient funding, caletc managed a very large Coalition of industry and consumer-group stakeholders, which coordinated very closely with the charge ahead Coalition, governor's office, legislature, and state agencies.caletc supported regulatory efforts designed to accelerate Transportation electrification, including the California energy commission's (cec) and California air resources board's (carb) investment plans, and multiple regulatory proceedings at the cec and carb that will advance Transportation electrification and fueling infrastructure. Because of its widespread effects, caletc was heavily involved with carb's low carbon fuel standard. Additionally, caletc supported incentives for zevs and fueling infrastructure.
La auto show event focused on accelerating the market for evs. We put together an in-person event to highlight the significance of driving zero emission vehicles.
