The California Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance provides and disseminated information regarding: research programs, state regulation, new techniques and other general information in the areas of health, physical education, recreation and dance through electronic communications. The Association also provided workshops and programs by sponsoring or co-sponsoring: Dance and Movement Workshop: District Conferences, AAHPERD/Southwest District convention; the National Adapted Physical Education, Annual State Conference, and various mini-conferences and workshops held throughout the state. The Association awards scholarships to student members and provided awards as recognition of outstanding members.
