Program areas at Caddo Council on Aging
Veterans home and community base services provide veterans the opportunity to hire their own personal care aides to assist them with daily living activities. The veterans administration is the funding source for this program. The overton brooks va has an agreement with Caddo Council on Aging to provide the service.
Title iii b - supportive services program provides seniors citizens services such as information and assistance, outreach, homemaker, and personal care services. The Louisiana governors' office of elderly affairs establishes the eligibility criteria and guidelines for this service.
Title iii c-2 - home delivered meal program provides five nutritional meals per week to homebound seniors in Caddo parish. The Louisiana governors' office of elderly affairs establishes the eligibility criteria and guidelines for this service.
