Vsbf annually stages the cheez-it Bowl (now the Cactus Bowl), which matches teams from the big 12 and pac 12 conferences (or mountain west if either conference cannot provide a team). the 31st annual cheez-it Bowl was played on december 27, 2019 at chase field in phoenix, Arizona. Air force defeated Washington state 31-21. the game was televised by espn.
