Access to CreditAccompany Capital's loan program awarded 204 new small business loans with a valueof $5,994,413 to immigrant, refugee, and women micro-entrepreneurs operatingbusinesses primarily in all five boroughs of New York City. 90% of all loans went to immigrant and refugee entrepreneurs and 55% were granted to women. We also helped entrepreneurs start 26 new businesses, and expand and strengthen 467 businesses. As a result, 141 jobs were created, and 831 jobs were retained, supporting the economic development of communities throughout the city.Business and Financial ManagementAccompany Capital provided 5,655 hours of small group training and individualizedassistance to 674 clients in FY 2022. A total of 46 webinars were offered on smallbusiness management, financial literacy, social media marketing, and homeownership,with a total of 756 participants. The Organization's staff assisted 563 businessesthrough business plan development, credit review and repair, cash flow analysis, andpreparing business loan applications. The Organization worked with clients from 55 countries in FY 2022.
Accompany Capital assisted micro and small business owners to access COVID19 relief in the form of debt relief, interest relief, grants, and low cost loansfrom the SBA, New York State, New York City, corporate, and private donors for COVID-19 relief programs. A total of 5,655 hours of small group training and individualized assistance to 674 clients in FY22 in addition to 46 workshops presented to 756 attendees.
