Program areas at Buncombe County Partnership for Children

The organization carried out the following activities during the year: the sfq project provided unrestricted cash grants twice per year to early care and education programs with a 4 or 5 star rating to help them maintain high quality programming or further improve their programming. As part of our child care resource and referral services, a team of early childhood quality enhancement specialists provided technical assistance and/or professional development to educators in early care education. A team of child care consultants provided support to Children with developmental delays, challenging social/emotional behaviors and/or special needs enrolled in early care and education programs.
