Program areas at Building Bridges Foster Family Agency
TFC-UC: The cooperative agreement between the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Refugee Resettlement Division of Unaccompanied Children's Operation and Building Bridges Foster Family Agency is for the agency to provide Transitional Foster Care (TFC) to unaccompanied alien children. During the year, we have served 275 UCs for 6,593 total days of care.
Mental Health Services- San Bernardino: Building Bridges Foster Family Agency provides a broad continuum of prevention, early intervention, and service needs and the necessary infrastructure, technology, and training elements that effectively support the behavioral health of Foster Children.
Building Bridges Foster Family Agency is a foster care agency that provides family support, treatment, and training. During the year covered, we served 139 children from Los Angeles County, County of Riverside & San Bernardino County for a total of 24,877 days of care.
Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment (CAPTS): Building Bridges Foster Family Agency provides services for children at risk of child abuse and neglect, their families, relative caregivers, foster parents, and the community. This program includes therapeutic services such as PCIT, Parenting Education, Anger Management, and Life Skills.
