Our program worked closely with the community foundation of greater Buffalo on housing and lead issues. We also initiated a new consumer advisory board comprised of current and program graduates.- our healthy families program cared for 500 families. They provided in home parenting and child development education along with prevention of child abuse and neglect and assisted clients with self-sufficiency, including returning to employment or school.- go Buffalo mom provides transportation navigators in the birthing hospitals prenatal clinics. The navigators work with mothers to ensure they can attend their prenatal visits to assist with a healthy birth outcome. They continue to offer the financial peace budgeting course as well as mentoring young men of color through ecc and nccc.- our go Buffalo mom program continues to work at the prenatal clinics of the 2 major health care systems to assist women with transportation to their prenatal appointments, etc. Our agency continues to rely on government and foundation grants to provide primary support for our programs. This year, more than ever before, community support has been essential for our sustainability, and we are so very grateful for the numerous examples of community support over this past year.our board of directors and administration staff remain committed to ensuring program effectiveness, organizational efficiency, and integrity, as well as ensuring financial sustainability. Within each focus area, strategies include enhancing partnerships and establishing new relationships as we know no single agency or provider can improve community and family/individual health alone.
