Brookfield Craft Center preserves and promotes traditional and contemporary craftsmanship while fostering creativity and personal growth through teaching. The center operates a retail gallery, showcasing local and national artists' work and hosting yearly exhibitions. In addition, Brookfield Craft Center offers an array of classes in eight studios, including glass arts, woodturning, fiber arts, jewelry making, painting & drawing, clay, digital skills in the Center for Modern Craft, blacksmithing, and bladesmithing in their forge.

Program areas at Brookfield Craft Center

We provide classes in many crafts in our eight studios. These include glass arts woodturning fiber arts jewelry making painting & drawing clay digital skills in our Center for Modern Craft blacksmith and bladesmithing in our forge.
Our retail gallery provides a venue for artists to sell their work with revenues going to the artist and to subsidize the craft center operations. The gallery also hosts several exhibitions each year highlighting the work of local and national artists as well as hosting an exhibition for local area students.
