Broadcasters Foundation of America improves the quality of life for professional men and women in the television and radio broadcast industry and their families who are in acute need through no fault of their own. The foundation reaches out across the country to identify and provide assistance. It offers two types of grant programs: monthly grants that support broadcasting professionals who are unable to work due to illness, accident, or other misfortune, and emergency grants that provide aid to those affected by natural disasters.

Program areas at Broadcasters Foundation of America

Broadcasters Foundation of America has two types of grant programs. Our monthly grants support broadcasting professionals who are no longer able to work due to an illness, accident, or other misfortune. Our emergency grants support those affected by natural disasters and home emergencies.during the calendar year the Foundation provided a total of $1,763,325 in financial assistance to professional men and women in the broadcast industry. Checks are disbursed monthly to benevolent grantees across the country and emergency grants are issued when the need arises.
