Bridging provides families and individuals who are pursuing stable housing with quality furniture and household goods to stabilize and improve lives while effectively using community resources. Bridging serves more than 4,600 client households per year; nearly half of the people served are children. Through its two warehouse locations in the Twin Cities, Bridging serves clients primarily in the seven-county metro area with a dedicated team of 40 staff members and approximately 2,500 volunteers. Through the power of recycling, Bridging is able to keep approximately 10-11 million pounds of items out of the waste stream each year by distributing these items to clients or passing them along to other nonprofits and organizations that can use them.
