Program areas at Brentwood Art Center

Provide instructional fine arts classes in the visual arts to approximately 1500 children, teens, adults and seniors.
Three teaching artists spent more than 150 teaching hours providing fine arts instruction at no cost to Veterans at the Westwood and Long Beach Veterans Administration campuses and since the closures in March 2020 due to the pandemic, one faculty member has continued to teach art online to veterans at the Long Beach VA virtually.
Provide instructional fine arts classes in the visual arts to approximately 1500 children, teens, adults and seniors. Provide financial support to low-income adults and children by reducing or eliminating school fees to ensure equitable access the arts. Awarded approximately $34,000 in fee reductions
