Program areas at Brazos Valley Community Action Programs

Child education programs - this is a program for preschool children from low-income families. These children participate in a variety of educational activities, receive medical and dental care, have healthy meals and snacks, and enjoy playing indoors and outdoors in a safe setting.

Women, infant and children program - the wic program provides nutrition education for nourishment during critical human growth cycles; usda regulated and approved food vouchers, referral to other community services, and breast feeding promotion and support.

Energy assistance and weatherization programs - the comprehensive energy assistance program (ceap) utility assistance program is part of the energy/housing programs. The bill pay program provides assistance with electric, natural gas, or propane bills.
