Program areas at Boys and Girls Club of the North Country
the Boys & Girls Club of the North Country provides an after-school program, which is open from about 2:30-6 every day. We also run vacation camp programs that cover winter, spring, and summer vacations with hours from 7:30am-6pm. In addition, we open for a full day on as many teacher in-service days and holidays as possible, since we know that working families often need help in caring for their children on those days. the Club serves almost 250 children ages 5-15 from 19 towns. Bgcnc runs a robust, diverse set of programs to entertain, teach, and help our members on their journey to becoming happy, healthy, productive adults. the Club has always been more than just an after-school program. We offer a range of services tailored to meet specific needs, including transportation, community programs, and snacks for all members. We also offer more than 100 programs and activities designed to help young people develop essential life skills. These include stem learning, arts and music, career development, tutoring and homework assistance, fitness and athletics, community service, healthy living, and leadership opportunities.
