Program areas at Boys and Girls Club of Frederick County
The Boys and Girls Club of Frederick Co. has been able to provide services to the lower income of alice members at the Club with the funds raised and grant received to help offset the cost for families to allow accessibility for all. The academic program also offers out-of-school time enrichment for youth, k-12, by providing a safe place to learn and grow, have fun, develop ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, participate in life-enhancing programs and character development experiences and have hope and opportunity.
The Boys and Girls Club of Frederick Co. continues to raise funds, and receive sponsorship to assist families who can't afford summer care. The programs for summer are from 7:30 am - 6 pm monday - friday. Our summer program offers full-day enrichment for youth, k-12, by building on the academic programs with enhanced programs to reduce summer learning loss for our younger members and provide career exploration for our older members.
