First accomplishmentboxton Cares offers a reward of $10 for clients who participate in the testing for hiv and complete the cdc questionnaire form. There is also a $10 reward for the same client for a return visit for education and training on the risk and health concerns surrounding hiv and aids. If the client chooses to participate in prep (hiv resistance pharmaceutical care), they may be able to continue counseling and education via Boxton Cares. If a client chooses to participate in education or medical care, they will be given free testing every 90 days, but will not qualify for the reward, since no other education and counsel is being required.boxton Cares offers a friendship of light food items, along with water, coffee and soda for free daily. Testing and education sessions are not a requirement. Boxton Cares provides a monthly catering or food truck as a client appreciation to those who have participated in testing and education. Any leftovers are offered to other homeless, neighboring businesses, volunteers and employees.boxton Cares offers a very limited supply qf clothes to clients. This is often offered to those in extreme need (such as the shoeless or coatless that are at high risk of the elements).in a few cases, Boxton Cares has offered to pay for a haircut at a neighboring business for clients in dire need with no sources to pay for such service.boxton Cares promotes good health through testing, training and responsible personal habits (sexual and hygiene). Future goals will include more provisions for nutrition and training; durable and comfortable clothing; shelter; and hopefully counseling that can assist with sustainable self-sufficient living.
