Program areas at Bok Tower Gardens

Bok tower gardens operates a 250 acre public garden, open 365 days a year, designed by landscape architect frederick law olmsted jr, which offers visitors and members environmental, natural, art and cultural experiences through a variety of programming. The gardens host music concerts, art exhibits, classes and lectures, community events and educational programming for all ages, with a total visitation of 229,535 visitors.

Bok tower gardens conducted daily carillon concerts at 1 & 3 p.m. with short selections played on the hour and half-hour. The carillon schedule features live concerts by geert d'hollander mid-october through mid-may, thursday to sunday. Recordings from the anton brees carillon library collection can be heard the remainder of the week, as well as during the summer months from mid-may to mid-october. Concerts can be heard throughout the gardens and there is no additional ticket required.

Operated a rare plant conservation program that integrates biological research; curated a collection of rare plant species of central and north Florida; rescued rare plant populations from development sites; perform conservation education for the public and with academic institutions; introducing new populations onto protected lands; restoring critical habitat; and met federal recovery objectives for listed plant species.
