Earning a bcen Certification is a national recognition and allows the holder to display the credential as part of their signature.bcen exams are based on specialty Nursing role delineation studies (rds). These research studies also known as a practice analysis or job analysis are conducted by exam committees of subject matter part of the rds, survey instruments are distributed to nurses practicing in each specialty area throughout the united states. The certified flight registered nurse (cfrn) exam is our third largest program. The cfrn exam is a Board Certification for registered nurses who work in a flight-based program. In 2018 bcen certified and recertified a total of 428 candidates in this program.

The certified pediatric Emergency nurse (cpen) exam is our second largest program. The cpen exam is a Board Certification for registered nurses who work in a pediatric Emergency setting. In 2018 bcen certified and recertified a total of 467 candidates in this program.
