Program areas at Bnai Brith Hillel Foundation at Queens College
Student Life and Jewish Experiences: Jewish experiences are the cornerstones of community at QC Hillel. QC Hillel brings together hundreds of students for Shabbat and holiday meals, services, student-led programming, community service, and learning opportunities that reach students across the diversity of Jewish cultures, ethnicities, denominations and ways of practicing.
Leadership Development: There are countless ways for today's college students to develop their leadership skills. At QC Hillel, we identify students who come to campus with leadership experience and those who have yet to explore their leadership potential and connect them to professional and leadership development that will help them excel on campus and in their careers. We also host leadership trainings, high-level internships, career development programs, interfaith programs, and volunteer opportunities. In doing so, we create a rich pipeline of young leaders prepared to lead Queens and NYC.
Community Building and Israel Engagement: QC Hillel envisions a world where every Jewish student is inspired to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning and Israel. We offer opportunities for students to explore their own cultural heritage through programs like Mizrahi LEAD, grapple with big questions through programs like Kol Yisrael, create communities that reflect their identity such as Bukharian Cultural Club and Persian Club and develop a personal relationship to Israel through programs like the Bonim Fellowship.
