Program areas at Bluefield University
Student instruction and scholarships: grounded in the liberal arts tradition, Bluefield University is at the forefront in understanding the value of science and technology in the 21st century. With more than 40 academic programs, which includes five master's degrees and associates in general studies. Students served include traditional students who anticipate needing three to five years to complete their degree, the degree completion student who needs fewer hours to complete an undergraduate degree and desires to complete online and the individual that is seeking a master's degree. The University delivers courses on-site/in-person and on-line. Academic support is provided through an academic center for excellence, a library, and academic technology support.
Auxiliary enterprises: the University's auxiliary enterprises include student housing, food service, the campus store, and special programs (e.g., summer events).
Student services: the University's student services areas include the registrar, enrollment management, creative media, financial aid, general student support services, campus security, inter-collegiate and intramural athletics, student extracurricular activities, campus ministry, and retention/student success services.
