Program areas at BMW Academy

Educational and cultural trips. Travel is an educational tool that opens doors and opportunities for the young men. We conducted college tours within Kentucky as well as several adjoining states. We visited several educational sited that were appropriate for the various ages. Every other year, cultural trips are taken abroad to continue to enhance the scholars experience. Expenses usually include travel, hotel accomodations, meals for scholars, and entrance fees into any museums.
Beautillion is an opportunity to present the young men to society. A formal dinner is held at the hotel where scholars are presented to society by their mothers. They take dance classes and must obtain tuxedos. This gives the scholars an opportunity to represent themselves as presentable young men and also enhance their communication and social skills. Expenses include the hotel fee, meals, dance lessons, decorations, and gifts for outstanding scholars.
Educational seminars and academic assistance. National speakers are brought in to motivate both the parents and students at least twice a year. BMW Academy kick-off in august and in the fall back into BMW after christmas. Expenses usually include travel for the speakers, meals, and speaker fees.
