Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the united states. We have been the leader in one-to-one youth services in tallahassee for over 46 years, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend serves children, ages 6 through 18, in eight counties: leon, wakulla, gadsden, franklin, madison, taylor, jefferson and liberty. In the 2019-2020 year, Big Brothers Big Sisters served 632 youth with one-to-one adult mentors through community-based, school-based, and children of prisoners mentoring programs. Through generous donations from individuals, foundations, the state of Florida, the united way and local businesses, Big Brothers Big Sisters continues its sustainability serving the most vulnerable children in our communities.
