Program areas at BMP
Bmp commissions, develops and produces contemporary music-theatre works in the form of opera, musical, song cycle, dance, theatre, film, mixed media works, and new forms yet to be discovered. Bmp encourages roisk taking artists by creating a structure for the development of new works via experimentation. In the 2023-2024 season, bmp produced the world premieres of three new pieces of opera-theatre, as well as four touring engagements of existing works. Additionally, bmp commissioned and workshoped seven pieces set to premiere in future seasons.
