Program areas at Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks - 784 South Amboy
Special needs children adults - helping children and adults who were born with or have acquired disabilities. Help can be in the form of special shoes, wheelchairs, or other medically necessary treatment or equipment. The lodge also subsidizes events and social functions for the local special needs residents. We are also called upon for support of the local special olympics.
Feed the hungry - the lodge distributes food baskets across town to the needy for the holidays or if otherwise requested. Many donations were also made to other not-for-profit groups such as local school projects, pba, volunteer fire departments, boy scouts, army of hope, etc.
