Program areas at Beaverton Education Foundation

The Beaverton Education Foundation supports programs and projects that enrich learning and actively engage students. All Beaverton school district staff members - teachers, counselors, bus drivers and specialists, are encouraged to apply for support. Bef strives to fund every school and reach as many of our district's 41,000 students as possible.beaverton's choice grants of up to $2,500 are available for student-engaged projects that enrich learning and encourage classroom innovation in any content area. During the year ended june 30, 2023, bef awarded $108,436 in Beaverton's choice grants and $35,117 in program directed support. (continued on schedule o. )bef middle school extended day awards: noncompetitive block grants awarded to middle schools to fund before and after-school programs for tutoring, access to technology, activities, and enrichment for students.
