Throughout the year the Organization accomplishes its mission through the following key activities: Education The Organization provides books to children via the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Basic Needs The Organization supports a network of emergency assistance services that help the most vulnerable and at-risk citizens. Health The Organization collaborates with local partners to ensure that community members have access to healthy foods, opportunities for physical activity, and quality health care. Community Building The Organization hosts networking events designed to build connections within the nonprofit community and identify opportunities for collaboration. Self-Sufficiency The Organization collaborates with local providers who focus on (a)Growing financial literacy skills to better understand income and savings opportunities; (b)Building skills and education to obtain jobs that provide a livable wage; and (c)Security through stable housing.
