Program areas at Beatitude House
Transitional housing for homeless adults and children during the fiscal year ended june 30, 2022, the transitional housing program provided structured services and a stable living environment in ashtabula county in Ohio for 20 adults and 16 children. 50% were victims of domestic violence and 35% were recovering from substance abuse. 95% were able to move to permanent housing.
The ursuline sisters scholars program - this program provided financial assistance, workshops, mentoring, and student advocacy and support to help low-income students achieve a post-secondary education. During fiscal year ended june 30, 2022, this program served 45 students of which 60% were single parents. The program had an 87% success rate; 22 students continued their programs and 17 students graduated. The program also helps students for 3 to 6 months post-graduation.
Permanent supportive housing for homeless adults and children offered rental assistance and supportive care program where at least one member of the household has a disability. During the fiscal year ended june 30, 2022, this program provided structured services and a stable living environment for 51 adults and 39 children. 100 % of households had a disability and 43% increased their income.
