Spent 4,905 on Community Outrreach Education activities through print, newspaper, television, radio and face to face classes and training about the issues of intimate violence, trauma, child abuse, sexual assault. How to provide strategic and therapeutic intervention, education as well as education on prevention. approximately 35 hours and hundreds of email, mail and print information and newsletters regularly distributed all year. Reaching approximately 5,500 community residents as well as over 50 businesses and stakeholder organizations in January and February, 2024.
Spent 4,888 on specialized training and development of advocates to provide the most progressive and innovative services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community.
Distributed 443,738 of funding according to donor intent to two 501c3 agencies that provided 24/7/365 advocacy and safe shelter to over 400 adult and child victims, per year, who need help due to any form of intimate violence or victimization and to support the Employment Enhancement Opportunities paid job training and placement services to 36 victimized or underemployed individuals re-entering the workforce.
