Be A Champion, Inc. Champion fuel food program (cacfp and sfsp food programs) - in may 2014, Be A Champion Inc. was awarded A contract by the Texas department of agriculture to provide the child and adult care food program (cacfp) and summer food service program (sfsp). These programs are designed to provide nutritious snacks and meals to students participating in enrichment programs across Texas. Be A Champion, Inc. Supports these programs with after-school enrichment programs and staff. Snack and meals consist of all natural, fresh ingredients with no preservatives provided by our partners, revolution foods, Inc. and pepsico food for good. At-risk cacfp snacks and meals can Be serviced if at least 50% of the school location is approved for free and reduced lunch for all youth up to 18 years of age. Be A Champion, Inc. partners with schools, community centers, apartments and churches and through the Be A Champion food program, students perform better in school as they consume healthy, fresh, well- balanced meals each day along with homework assistance and after-school enrichment programs. In 2022, over 3,518,679 (3,379,701 served through cacfp, 138,978 served through sfsp) lunch, snacks and suppers were served to at-risk youth.
Be A Champion, Inc. programs (after-school, summer, sports and youth camps)- these programs operate in the 12 major school districts,community centers and churches around the greater houston, dallas/forth worth and san antonio areas. All programs involve enrichment activities that provide students with A well-rounded learning approach outside of school hours. This is the widest-reaching program Be A Champion, Inc. offers, impacting over 4,900 kids daily. This program provides students with opportunities that are not provided during the school hours, while parents are seeking employment opportunities. Be A Champion, Inc. Offered over 90+ programs in over 70 campuses around the greater houston, dallas/forth worth and san antonio areas.
