Established as a nonprofit organization exempt under 501(c)(3) on July 22, 2010, the Foundation has distributed more than $300 million to Baylor Scott & White Health, helping the healthcare system achieve its mission of serving all people by promoting the well-being of all individuals, families and communities. Our generous donors are philanthropic partners who believe in Baylor Scott & White's mission, providing support to enhance specialty care services, improve access to primary care, and advance medical technology through innovation. Significant support from the Foundation equips Baylor Scott & White Health to embrace new changes, continue to excel in the delivery of quality services to its patients, and develop new models of care to meet the needs of a growing population. Through the support of generous donors, the Foundation is helping Baylor Scott & White Health improve lives in central Texas and beyond in many tangible, lasting ways. During the fiscal year, the Foundation distributed more than $13 million for priority programs and initiatives across Baylor Scott & White Health.
