Improving the quality of the lives of individuals and their families who face the challenges of developmental disabilities, aging, mental illness, and drug and alcohol addiction. We will accomplish this mission by providing effective and compassionate Services and through advocacy and leadership. To provide a full range of Human Services to greater boston residents who face the challenges accompanying developmental disabilities, mental illness, homelessness, drug and alcohol dependency and other mental, physical and aging challenges.

Program areas at Bay Cove Human Services

Mental health Services - the mental health Services division provides a wide range of Human Services tailored to adults with long-term and severe mental illness. The division operates several mental health community residences and treatment programs which focus on increasing a clients independence through rehabilitation, community skills development and case management.
Addiction Services - the addiction Services division provides medical and counseling Services to individuals suffering from substance abuse and dependency. Services include medical detoxification, counseling, methadone treatment, case management, outpatient clinic and psychiatric nursing.
Long term support Services - the long term support Services division provides Services to adults suffering from a wide range of developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges as well as family support and respite Services to people with developmental disabilities and their families. The division operates limited group residences and staff-supported housing which concentrate on daily supervision, counseling and community living skill development.
Central Services - the central Services division is comprised of a range of Services to support clients across the agency in what was formerly the agency's senior Services division. Services in this division include snap benefit administration and home repair Services to support elders living independently in the community.
Child and family Services - the child and family Services division operates early intervention programs and a small wonders nursery school that provide clinical and counseling Services to infants, toddlers and their families.
Health care integration - as a part of the community partner (cp) initiative, the agency is the service provider of three care teams in the boston and southeast areas of Massachusetts providing care coordination Services. Each team consists of professionally licensed management, nursing, licensed clinicians and direct care staff with various specialties including addiction and recovery. Teams work with clients, their primary care, behavioral health and other specialty care doctors/providers as well as community service providers to maximize consistency and minimize cost of care.
Community partner - administrative management - the community partner - administrative management division provides staffing for administrative oversight to two separate legal entities, community care partners llc and boston ltss llc. These llcs are partnerships between seven non-profit organizations with a centralized management staff including a distinct executive director. Collectively, these organizations, through their partners, provide care management Services across the commonwealth through the masshealth reform integrated care model. Oversight is provided by a leadership committee comprised of executive managers from the primary owners of the llcs.
