Community build projects - the Foundation funded four community build projects in 2023. Three new construction projects for the Minnesota assistance council for veterans with build partner lennar. These new construction four-bedroom homes located in north minneapolis provide Housing for approximately 30 veterans on an annual basis. Macv owns these properties and provides veterans with case management, employment and legal services to help them regain confidence and self-sufficiency. One remodeling/renovation project for avivo with build partner nor-son custom builders. This completed renovation of an entire apartment building used for Housing for women undertaking the challenging task of addiction recovery. Avivo provides Housing for women and their children and surrounds them with services to support them in their journey.participation of build and trade partners and funding from the Foundation provided an investment in excess of $800k creating Housing valued at $1.5 million expanding and improving Housing capacity for nonprofit service organizations for a fraction of the cost.
