Baby Bundles

Baby Bundles provides Baby essentials to families in the charlotte area who are living at or below the poverty line, helping them get a positive start with their Baby. Baby Bundles partners with 18 community agencies and local hospitalsto identify the families in need who will receive a bundle of clothing, blankes, books and toys. Our bundle meets an emergent need but will also last over the first year of life, supporting basic clothing needs, promoting an infant's brain growth and development, and fostering caregiver and infant bonding, all of which helps give the newborn a positive start to life. The contents of the bag are worth approximately $330, helping families begin parenthood on the right foot. Approximately 80% of Baby Bundles' expenses are program expenses which include some donated bundle supplies. Not included, however, is the value of hundreds of volunteer hours or the value of donated warehouse space, all of which Baby Bundles is very fortunate to receive. If the value of these could be included in the reported program expense, the program expense percentage would be much higher.
