Vivre management, employees, and volunteers are all dedicated to helping clients in need ofemployment, by providing guidance, life skills, resume building, and job coaching, along withregular reporting to government agencies. In order to ensure productivity, vivre has partnered upwith other non-profit organizations such as st. joseph the worker. By doing this, we have theability to provide daily and monthly bus passes, vouchers for free work boots and shoes, uniforms, certifications, and other work essentials our clients may need to be successful in our programand, more importantly, in life. All our participants have access to workforce development servicesand over half the residents utilized our assistance to be gainfully employed.
Residents are all asked to volunteer as part of their sobriety program, if able. These are tasksoutside of normal functions of living such as cleaning, sweeping the lot, washing doors, andwindows.this year we painted two buildings. We also have an uncompensated intern who volunteers aspart of their education at approx. 120 hours a month for most of the year.
