Program areas at Avenida de Colores Chalk Festival
The organization provides an opportunity for all street painters to practice their art by holding an annual Chalk Festival - a celebration of street painting that is a 400 year old european tradition. The Festival is an interactive performance cultural art event where hundreds of artists create museum quality artwork using the city streets as their canvas. Estimated attendance to the Festival is 80,000 people. In addition, the organization sponsors and promotes this art form throughout the year.
