Austin Free Press began publishing on-line, local news stories in May 2024. We emphasize covering under-served populations and providing in-depth reporting. In early 2024 we began a Huston-Tillotson University partnership to train journalists and publish their work. We are in the process of expanding our partnerships with other community groups and institutions.
