Program areas at Austin Foundation for Architecture
Exhibitions evolve and change each year. In 2022, the organization was commissioned by Waterloo Greenway to design and install a light- based installation for the public event, Creek Show. The event attracted over 60,000 Austinites and visitors, highlighting local design talent and increasing awareness of our mission as well as the mission of Waterloo Greenway.
Architalks@Articulture showcases Austin's talented architects and designers, with each installment focusing on an individual practitioner and their unique approach to their work.
Form:Function is a program for the celebration and appreciation of people and organizations in Austin who enhance the urban experience and contribute to design excellence in the built environment.
The Women in Arcitecture annual scholarship is awarded to minority female indentifying students attending the University School of Architecture. Students are also paired with a mentor in the profession. Two scholarship awards were granted totaling $5,000. Las Pinatas ATX is a collection of temporary art installations along an annually selected Latinx/Hispanic-inspired theme displayed in conjuction with Dia De Los Muertas.
