Program areas at Augusta County Historical Society

The Augusta County Historical Society promotes interest in the history of the County, promotes the discovery and preservation of papers, documents, books, objects, sites, places and buildings of historic interest. The Society also promotes the study of genealogy. We assist people with research in areas of interest pertaining to Augusta County. We publish books and newsletters to keep our membership informed. At least three times a year, we sponsor a lecture on topics of interest to the membership.
