Program areas at Auberle

Residential services: auberle's residential programs serve a target population of children & youth between the ages of 0-21 who are experiencing behavior issues or family problems severe enough to preclude them from remaining at home and in the community. These services include group home, semi-independent living, transitional housing and foster care. All children are referred by county child protective services or juvenile courts. Auberle provided residential and clinical services to 339 children.

Shelter services: auberle provides emergency shelter for children ages 7-21 in need of protective services who have been removed from their families because of at-risk situations. The shelter program provides shelter services to children who are in need of a supervised, structured and therapeutic environment. This service is contracted by allegheny county department of human services, children, youth and families and Washington county department of health and human services. Auberle provided shelter services to 104 children.

Ila/412 youth zone: auberle provides support for young adults ages 16-23 that are transitioning out of the foster care system and are eligible for independent living services or are experiencing unstable housing. Auberle provided services to 1,361 young adults.
