Atlfamilymeal

Atlfamilymeal, Inc. was organized on march 20, 2020 to feed, nourish and support hospitality workers and their families experiencing food insecurity and joblessness in metro atlanta. The primary covid response meals program has served this aim by delivering healthy, chef-prepared meals from local restaurants directly to the homes of hospitality workers who lost their jobs on account of covid and the mass layoffs that followed in the hospitality industry. Program expenses went primarily toward the food and labor cost for meal production, meal packaging, delivery and the associated logistics required to facilitate hundreds of deliveries each week.
