Program areas at At Last
During its 4th year of providing program services, AT LAST! continues to materially improve the academic performance and outcomes for impoverished elementary school-aged children. AL! also continues to otherwise grow the vital human capital of these children (e.g., their aptitude for learning, cognitive endurance, problem-solving abilities, their conflict resolution skills, their "rest and alertness" hygiene, etc.), while also providing them with life's necessities (grooming, hygienic and other items at the core of their self-esteem). AL! has now provided program services long enough to 2 children have an AL! 6th-grade Commencement Ceremony. BOTH of those children received an admission and scholarship to a 4-year college which they-if they continue on the path AL! has equipped them to complete-will be able to put to use upon graduating high school. These are outstanding transformative outcomes that AL! expects to continue producing in the years to come.
