Program areas at AWSNA
Member services: provide direct services to more than 160 Waldorf affiliated Schools and institutes including accreditation; self-study and peer review; visitations by experienced practitioners; research projects on curriculum, teaching, governance and economic aspects for members; public relations support; on-line resources for teachers and administration; and national conferences. Awsna reaches outward by engaging in advocacy; marketing and outreach; and authentic information about Waldorf education on our website.
Teacher training: provide financial assistance to students who wish to become Waldorf teachers.
Waldorf education worldwide: advancing Waldorf initiatives around the globe through soliciting donations for our partner freunde der erziehungskunst rudolf steiner who support Waldorf Schools, Waldorf kindergartens, social therapy, and curative education institutions as well as social initiatives in order to provide good educational opportunities for people all over the world.
Publications: publication of school renewal journal two times annually providing news & articles on Waldorf education for distribution to more than 160 Waldorf affiliated Schools and institutes.
