Association of Fundraising Professionals - Ny New York City Chapter

Annual conference - Fundraising day in New York - this all-day conference held in june at the ny marriott marquis attracted approximately 800 attendees in the nonprofit industry. The day includes educational tracks with top-notch speakers and panelists, a keynote speaker during the luncheon, and an exhibit hall designed to introduce vendors to the nonprofit community. Also offered at this event were cfre credits.

General program - the Chapter offers a year-round series of educational workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities to promote the professional development of our members and other Fundraising Professionals in the greater New York area. The Chapter's annual meeting, attended by approximately 200 in january, is a state of the industry event with a panel of experts sharing insights for the coming year. The professional advancement series of educational events attracts fundraisers and consultants to the industry for morning sessions approximately 8x/year. The emerging leaders group offers networking events that facilitate connections between those New to the profession and those with more expertise and experience for the benefit of all.
