Program areas at AESP

In 2022, aesp was heavily impacted by the continued effects of covid-19, especially in the first half of the year. Elevated pricing for consumer goods and Services further exacerbated the financial strain created by covid-19. Staff attempted to make a return to in-person events, but experienced lower than-anticipated attendance and participation at aesps annual conference and spring training events, resulting in heavy financial losses to the organization. 2022 focused on new member recruitment, better integration of chapters, implementation of new dei efforts, and improvements to our content management processes. Key program related impacts include 10,037 individual engagements, 3.5 engagement per member, 3,967 total members, 24,432 member volunteer hours, and 39 training courses offered and attended by 475 members.
