Program areas at Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management
Conferences and meetings: a multidisciplinary annual research conference that attracts the highest quality research on a wide variety of important current and emerging Policy and Management issues. This program is structured to encourage substantive interaction among participants. The fall conference also encourages the involvement of policymakers, practitioners, and scholars in the Association's governance. Awards are presented at the conferences to outstanding members.
Publications and Public service career job board: jpam is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal that publishes the highest quality research on Public Policy and Management. Jpam is published three times a year. Www.publicservicecareers.org is a co-sponsored internet resource to encourage and sustain Public service careers. Jobs that have been listed on www.publicservicecareers.org span all sectors and levels including: federal, state, county, and local governments; nonprofit organizations and associations, think tanks and research organizations, academia, consulting, and the private sector. Membership services: dedication to activities relating to respecting and enhancing racial, ethical, disciplinary, and other forms of diversity among participants. Initiatives include fostering participation in the Association's governance and the fall conference.
Management services and other programs: Management services provided to nonprofits, including Management of annual and member meetings, publications, membership services, communications, and administrative services.
