Program areas at MHAW
Personalized recovery oriented services: individual, group, and classroom experiences geared to help participants identify and achieve personal goals and valued life roles while improving one's management of the impact, effects, and challenges of psychiatric disability.
Housing services: provide dignified permanent supported and supportive housing for individuals in recovery from Mental illness and homeless veterans. Housing supports including linkage to community providers and resources help individuals to regain and attain housing stability, and economic independence.
Health home care management: individualized, goal-directed casework services to help people negotiate the maze of government and private resources in order to obtain critical services including treatment, public entitlement program benefits, medical care, housing, financial assistance and specialized services.
All other programs included on the statement of functional expenses include community and referral, workforce training, shelter, recovery center, peer services, community based services, and other programs.
