Program areas at Association for Machine Translation in the Americas

The Association for Machine Translation in the Americas (AMTA) hosted the organization's biennial conference, AMTA 2022, from September 12-16, 2022. It featured plenary sessions including keynote presentations by research, commercial, and government machine translation (MT) experts. Presentations of submitted and invited papers were organized in three program tracks, MT research, commercial MT users, and government MT users. Attendees moved among the tracks with breaks organized in a synchronized manner. Attendees were given the opportunity to get hands-on experience with leading edge systems, the highlights of user applications were presented and demonstrated by industry and academic representatives. Tutorials and workshops were held before the main conference and covered a wide range of topics. The conference was attended by 430 registrants.
