Life-long learning & education help materials professionals remain technically current, so they can advance their careers at any point in the professional life cycle and contribute to the growth and sustainability of the materials community. Materials education is provided through classroom & lab courses, online courses, self-study courses, and other blended learning options.
The Asm materials solutions network is a program operated by Asm International to help solve materials technology problems and improve materials performance for industry, academia and government clients by providing access to the world's largest materials solutions and resource network. The network makes available the framework, infrastrucure and resourcs by which network members can collaborate and accelerate the development and development of new leading-edge material processes, products, services, equipment and software. Scalable, on demand, materials-centric research and development projects are executed for client members through a collaborative network environment, managed and fulfilled through the vast capabilities of the Asm International membership base. The network offers its members a direct benefit by maximizing thier collective capabilities and focusing those capabilities toward conducting materials focused applied research and development projects to attain technology solutions.
